It's founder, Desdeny Olexa, drawing on an extensive teaching background and insight into families with dynamic schedules, saw that many parents craved more than traditional tutoring services could offer. They desired quality educators who could accompany them at home or as they travel; adapting lessons to the environment and student strengths and interests. Over time, the concept evolved into a dedicated private educator introduction service that identifies, screens, and matches families with world schooling ready educators who bring learning to life.

Story Behind The Company
Roots & Discovery
Raised in rural Pennsylvania, with a case of wanderlust I moved to Palm Beach County Florida where I began teaching in the public sector. During my rookie years, I tutored after school in the comfort of former students' houses. By keeping the class size to one, I was able to fully tailor the curriculum to my student's specific interests and needs. This is when I saw the impact of a personalized, approach. With experience and a passion for curriculum development, I was fortunate to join The Benjamin School; a premier independent day school in South Florida.
Teaching & Turning Point
The Benjamin School community is tight-knit and it shines through in its emphasis on interdisciplinary, project based learning, academic excellence, personal growth, and strong values. I felt at home there and my students were my life! However, even so, there were families seeking deeper, personalized educational experiences. I resigned from the classroom to explore alternative forms of education and to support a local homeschool family. That's when I became an entrepreneur and launched an afterschool in-home tutoring service. Instantaneously, I met families seeking more than an hourly tutor. They were seeking trustworthy educator companions capable of creating a delivering experiential opportunities at home or abroad. In 2015, I began traveling with families as their personal educator. The experience was a life changing approach to academics, social, emotional, and cultural growth.
The Evolution of the Brand
The pandemic created a surge in the number of families seeking private educators. Shifting from an after-school tutor to a conceriege-style, private educator referral service, required me to shift gears and adapt to the needs of today's modern family. In 2022, I began shaping a brand for educators and families alike emphasizing flexible schedules, real-world discovery, and customization.
